An OSR Overland and Dungeon Crawl game in the style of a classic Minecraft Complete the Monument Map.

Why are these fighters and wizards venturing across the land to find colored wool for a monument? Hell if I know, but that won't stop them!

Specifically, I was thinking earlier today back to... This must have been like 6 or 7 years ago when me and some friends took on a specific Super Hostile map called Lethamyr

If you don't know, the objective of these minecraft maps is to go down into dungeons, fight your way through using any means necessary, and obtain a block of wool to bring back to the "Victory Monument" The one we played specifically was not a large megadungeon as is usual for the creator; but actually a large continent for you to explore and discover the dungeons yourself.

The sense of adventure that me and my friends had, as a band of adventurers trying to discover these dungeons in the lands and thwart them, while dying all along the way, was probably my first taste of how an OSR RPG might feel before I even got into RPG's altogether.

It would be a fun campaign framework, but I don't know what system would be best to run it, or if players would even be interested in a more loose "You're trying to find the wool/banners/maguffins/etc" framework. So, who knows.
